Building a Seller-Doer Culture in Your Firm According to SMPS/SMPS Foundation research, during the next 10 years, over 50% of architectural, engineering and construction firms are expected to increase their use of seller-doers and almost 40% of the firms who participated in the research also say they’ve already increased their use of seller-doers during past 10 years. Join SMPS SWRC for a special, high level, full-day program targeted to Principals, C-Suite, senior level business developers and marketers looking to create or enhance a seller-doer model in their firm. Participants will work together to each develop their own seller-doer implementation plan through hands-on exercises, peer discussions, panel discussions, case studies and presentations featuring best practices that will help them create or enhance a successful seller-doer culture and program that fosters strategy, teamwork, accountability and recognition that drives success and increased revenues.

Creative Skills Mix and Match Workshops
Morning and Afternoon Sessions, Details Below

The Creative Skills Mix-and-Match Sessions are meant to attend one or mix and match your morning and afternoon.  These skills-based workshops provide hands-on learning, full of classroom style training.  Bring your laptop, your notebook, and get ready to dive deep into technical subjects.  You'll walk away with new skills, presented in a tactical learning environment.   

Adobe Creative Cloud

Join us to experience customized technology-based learning led by our expert trainer. This hands on interactive learning opportunity is dedicated to helping you become comfortable with the complicated features of various tools used every day.  

Adobe InDesign (AM Session - 8:00 am to noon): In this fast-paced session, you’ll create a document from the ground up, importing images, formatting text, and exporting to PDF. Attendees will also learn to work with InDesign Preferences. InDesign’s factory settings leave something to be desired. Do you think in picas? No, of course you don’t! You’ll learn how to set up the InDesign environment to be more user-friendly. Doing so with no document open ensures that you’re controlling all future documents, too.

Adobe Tips and Tricks (PM Session - 1:00 to 5:00 pm): Infographics, Interactivity, and InDesign – how to make your proposals and presentations shine. This course is for experienced InDesign and Photoshop users, so if you are attending the AM session as a new InDesign user, you may be overwhelmed by all the tips and tricks in this session.

Join us to experience customized technology-based learning led by our expert CRM trainers. These hands on interactive learning opportunities are dedicated to helping you enhance your CRM skills in one of our two workshops led by Cosential and Deltek.

Individual Presentation Skills Workshop

Join presentation coach and the author of Be...The Winning Presentation, Dena Wyatt, for this small group presentation skills workshop where a total of 12 participants will have the opportunity to work with Dena to improve their skills. Each person will come prepared with a two-minute presentation on a topic of their choice that they will then give in this session. They will then receive one-on-one pointers on improving presentation styles.

AM (9:00 to 11:00 am) and PM (1:00 - 3:00 pm) Sessions are the same
